Private Lessons with Me

Of COURSE I teach private lessons!

This is all about YOU! Working one-on-one is hands down the quickest way to propel you to where you want to be artistically. I am able to help pinpoint areas of challenge and offer tips, hacks and exercises to make painting more effortless. With personalized lessons we work together to strengthen your painting skills and expand your techniques in order to achieve your goals.

I am flexible. You can take lessons in my classroom/studio or I can travel to you. I can supply all needed materials, or you can use your own supplies (I have rates for both options). I’m also available for extended long-distance workshops (please e-mail me with details for a quote).

I always recommend at least 2 hours/lesson for acrylics and at least 3 hours/lesson with encaustic.

Acrylic Rates:
$75/hour: You have all of your own supplies
$100/hour: I bring all supplies

Encaustic Rates:
$100/hour: You come to my studio (all you bring are panels to paint on)
$150/hour: I bring everything (encaustic supplies, tools AND panels) to your studio (please add 1.5 hour time for set-up/breakdown)

Round-trip Travel time:
$25/hour
